I know that a lot of people opted to vote early. Which is awesome, and I'm thrilled that this election is going to bring out more voters than ever.
But I wanted to vote on Election Day. I toyed with the idea of going early, but there's something about going on THE DAY itself that appeals to me greatly. I plan to get up early tomorrow and hit the polls when they open, before school, so I can wear my little "I Voted" sticker around all day. I even want Pooh to come along and take a picture of me putting my ballot in the box (so yeah, it's 2008, why are we still doing this via paper?) so I can look back on that moment and say I was there and I voted.
