Well it's 9:30 AM and I just rolled out of bed for the day. Thank god soon I will be doing that regularly on Monday. 1 1/2 more day of work.
Speaking of work, tomorrow may be the single longest workday I have ever experienced. Stupidly, earlier last week I casually mentioned that if for some reason the horrible 8th grade teacher couldn't go on the class trip, that I would be happy to take her place. Heh. Wasn't expecting her to say "ok!". I am on a bus with 30 kids and 2 parents tomorrow morning at 7AM for the 3+ hour bus ride to Kings Dominion. Yay. Actually, it won't be too horrific, I hope. Trying to remain optimistic. :)
Yesterday was a dreary dreary day. We ended up canceling the foofa's grooming appointment because he woke me up at 6AM because of some distant thunder rumbling. I could just picture him having a fit at the groomers if the storms continued, so we rescheduled for next week. We layed around and watched TV (Buffy season 6) until around noon, then headed out for some halfhearted errands. We met Andrew and family for dinner at Outback, and I ate far too much blooming onion. Not being used to the greasy greasy food, I had a tummy ache last night. Live and learn - once you're off the grease do not go back. Sarah wanted to come spend the night with us, it was all I could do to talk her out of it as she climbed all over me. Hopefully I'll get some sun at KD tomorrow to cover my leg bruises. :)
Saturday I did manage to finish filling in the two front beds... for the spring and summer color anyway. Home Depot, of all places, had an amazing selection of perrenials and I had almost wished I waited before buying what I already have. Anyway, need to get those pictures taken and identified before I forget what they are. I can manage the hosta but some of the others I know I will forget. This rain that's continuing today is great for them. My sedum are the only ones who aren't too happy. I'm hoping the Dragon's Blood blooms soon.
Water aerobics shortly. Then I must clean the disaster area known as the downstairs of the house before the Glasses come for dinner. Wish I hadn't started the Tupperware cabinet move, that might take all day. Tom & Shelly are also coming for a cookout. Kids 2 days in a row... can I stand it.
