So the country (world?) will have its eyes on good old NC, as well as Indiana, today as we head to the polls to vote in the primary.

I left the house a bit early this morning, anticipating a long line at the polls and having to come back after school. Much to my disappointment, I was able to pull up and park right in front of the fire station and get my ballot immediately. The women at the registration table said I had missed a big crowd earlier, but as I fed my ballot into the machine and saw that I was voter #73, I couldn't help but think their idea of a crowd and mine were much different.

When I got to work, though, others said they stopped by their voting places and couldn't go in because they couldn't find a parking spot or the lines were too long. So that's a good thing.

Obama supporters were apparently quite obnoxious in downtown Raleigh, lining/blocking the streets and shoving literature in people's faces. I never understand why people stand outside polls, I certainly wouldn't vote for someone last minute based on a piece of paper stuffed in my hand as I walked in.

Needless to say, my vote was for Hillary. :)
